Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how LiveTranslate ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our websites, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service").
1. Information we collect
- Account data: such as name, email address, and authentication identifiers when you register or sign in.
- Usage data: such as session activity, feature usage, approximate location derived from IP (if collected), device and browser type, and diagnostic logs to operate and improve the Service.
- Default language suggestion: when you open the app or start a session without choosing languages in the URL, we may infer an approximate country from your IP address or from trusted proxy headers (for example when using Cloudflare) only to suggest a default "speak from" language. That inference is not stored in our database for this purpose; your browser language may be used locally to suggest a default translation target. You can always change languages in the UI or via URL parameters.
- Audio and translation content: when you use live translation, audio and generated text may be processed to provide the Service. Retention depends on your settings, product features, and legal obligations.
- Payment data: billing details are processed by our payment providers; we typically receive limited payment metadata (not full card numbers).
2. How we use information
We use information to provide, secure, and improve the Service; personalize your experience; communicate with you about your account and updates; detect abuse and fraud; comply with law; and analyze usage in aggregate or de-identified form.
3. How we share information
We may share information with service providers who assist us (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment processing, translation or speech infrastructure) subject to appropriate safeguards. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger or acquisition. We do not sell your personal information as that term is commonly understood in applicable privacy laws, except as described in this policy or with your consent where required.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We may use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, security, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may limit functionality.
5. Data retention
We retain information as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary by data type and jurisdiction.
6. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. International transfers
If you use the Service from outside the country where we operate, your information may be processed in countries that may have different data protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in those emails. To exercise rights, contact us as described below. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority where applicable.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of those laws.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy and update the effective date. Material changes may require additional notice where required by law.
11. Contact
When you use the Contact form on our website, we collect the information you provide (such as name, email, optional company, subject, and message) so we can respond to you. Submissions are stored in our systems and a copy may be sent by email to our team (for example admin@mingle.fit) for handling. We use this information only to communicate with you about your request unless we say otherwise or the law requires something different.
If you sign up for our newsletter on the website, we store your email address to send occasional product updates. Each address is stored once; you can unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter email we send, when applicable.
For other privacy-related requests or questions, contact us through the support channels listed on our website or the Contact page.
This policy is provided for general information. Legal requirements vary by region; consider professional advice for compliance with laws that apply to you.
